Vendor partners

Your buyer wants the equipment. Financing is how it closes.

Five West Financial builds financing programs for equipment manufacturers, dealers, and resellers, at three levels of commitment. Refer a customer with zero setup, put your logo on our tools, or run a full private-label program under your own brand. We handle the credit, the paperwork, and the funding either way.

Vendor programs

Three ways to work with us.

Every vendor sells differently. A manufacturer running national trade shows does not need the same program as a two-location dealer. Pick the tier that matches the volume you already do, and move up when it makes sense.

Tier 1

Tier 3

3rd Party Financing

No setup, instant upside.

Nothing to build and nothing to sign. Send us the customer and we take it from there.

Monthly application volumeNo minimum
SetupNone
Trial periodNot applicable
Benefits

  • Give your customers competitive terms and world-class service whenever they need financing
What it takes
  • Zero setup. Start referring customers to support@fivewestfinancial.com, or contact us and we will assign you a named point of contact to send them to instead
  • $0 minimum monthly volume
Not sure which one fits? Start where you are. Plenty of partners refer their first few deals as 3rd Party, move to Co-Branded once the volume is steady, and build a Private Label program when financing becomes a real part of how they sell. Moving up a tier does not restart anything.

“Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success.”

Why vendors move volume with us

Approvals that keep up with the sale.

A financing partner is only worth having if the answer arrives while the customer is still interested. Two things make that possible.

Speed

Answers in hours, not weeks.

Most submissions get a first response within one business hour, and approvals on clean equipment finance and working capital files can come back in as little as 30 minutes. Applications use a soft credit inquiry, so your customer can find out where they stand without a hit to their score.

Credit reach

Two funding paths, one submission.

Five West Financial is a hybrid direct lender and broker. Transactions that price best through a bank or institutional lending partner go there. Transactions that need speed, certainty, or a structure no bank program will accommodate can be approved and funded through our own direct lending program. Fewer files dead-end on your sales floor.

What we finance

The equipment your customers are buying.

If it is tangible business equipment and the buyer is an operating company, it is usually placeable. New, used, refurbished, dealer and private-party, titled and non-titled. These are the categories we fund most.

Do not see your category? The list is where our volume sits, not the limit of what we place. If the equipment is used in the business more than half the time and the buyer is an operating company, send it over and we will tell you quickly whether there is a program for it.
Program features

What your customers get.

Available structures vary by transaction, credit profile, and program. These are the tools most often used to get a vendor deal across the line.

Deferred and seasonal payments to match the revenue the equipment produces
No prepayment penalty on many programs, so early payoff is not punished
Application-only decisions on qualifying transactions, without full financials
Online application and e-signature docs so nothing waits on a fax or a courier
New, used, and private-party equipment financed, titled or non-titled
Progress and pre-funding arrangements available on qualifying transactions
EFA and lease structures including $1, 10%, and fair market value buyouts
Section 179 positioning built into year-end campaigns and quotes
Getting started

Four steps from first call to first funded deal.

1

Tell us how you sell

Equipment, typical ticket, customer profile, and where financing currently loses you deals.

2

We build the program

Co-branded apply page, payment tools, and the structures that fit your equipment and buyers.

3

Train the reps

A short session so your team can raise financing confidently and hand off cleanly.

4

Submit and fund

Your customer applies, we underwrite and place the file, and you get paid on funding.

Who this works best for

Vendor programs run best where the equipment carries a real ticket, the buyer is an operating business, and the purchase is tied to capacity or revenue. Most transactions we fund sit with established companies, generally two or more years in business. Select programs exist for experienced operators launching a new venture with strong personal credit and working capital behind them. We tell you early when a deal will not work, rather than sitting on a file for a week to say no.

Let's see what a program would look like.

Fifteen minutes on the phone is usually enough to tell which tier fits, and whether this is worth building for your business.
